A Field Trip to Port Townsend!

It was a beautiful September day and perfect for a ferry ride to the historic town of Port Townsend.  Jill and I enoyed our organic salmon salad while sitting outside at the beach.  There is so much to sketch in this town!  We explored downtown, uptown, and side streets.

Joanne Welling's Garden

What a delightful early September afternoon ASk had at Joanne's beautiful garden in Bow.  We had a tour and then picked our sketching spots.  It was difficult to choose as everywhere you turned there was an interesting gem.

Happy Chickens!

Many thanks to Jody for hosting the sketchers!  We had such a fun afternoon meeting the grown-up chickens, admiring her beautiful garden, eating a tableful of treats, and drinking wine.  Oh, and sketching!
