The Maiden of Deception Pass

It was a perfect afternoon at Rosario Beach last Monday.  The fog was lifting, water was clear, and eagles were flying overhead.  This totem tells the story of the friendship between the Samish and the sea.  The sea feeds the people and the people treat the sea with kindness and respect.
