Our afternoon at the Breazeale Interpretive Center was wonderful!  Some of us opted to sit outside.  Here are a few sketches of the view.

Sketching the Aquariums

Can they see us from the other side of the glass?

We were ready for inclement weather. Advance planning required an indoor location with a much needed splash of color at the end of January. Brilliant idea! We were given private access to everything the Breazeale Interpretive Center had to offer, including the ambient sounds of the seashore. Who knew we would have a sunny, clear 68 degree afternoon in the Pacific NW while east coast residents were bracing for a blizzard?!---Post and Photo by Michele Cooper

A Sunny Winter's Day in Bay View

We had 14 sketchers and a mom show up yesterday in Bay View to sketch at the Breazeale Interpretive Center in Bay View.  What a glorious day.  Some sketched inside.  The holding tanks were full of colorful sea life.  And, some sketched outdoors basking in the much-needed sunshine.

Bellying Up to the Bar

The Brown has always been one of my favorite sketching spots.  No matter what hour, there are always people at the bar enjoying a beverage!  It is such a great spot for drawing people.
