We had another lovely, sunny afternoon in Carolyn's beautiful garden!

Christianson's Schoolhouse and Yard

The sprinkler was going in full force at the front of the schoolhouse, so we sat in the back (shade) and side (sun).  The garden is still beautiful with hydrangeas, and many fragrant roses.

The Gaches Mansion in La Conner is now home to the Pacific NW Quilt and Fiber Arts Museum.  We chose to sit outside on this beautiful summer day.Drawing this building was challenging, but fun!

Carpenter Creek Winery

It was so much fun to become acquainted with this winery in south Mt. Vernon.  Thanks, Sandy, for setting it up.  They have tastings for $5.00 with a variety of whites and reds.  We hope to return!
