Sketching at Four Seasons Restaurant

It's always fun to sketch food especially at the all-you-can-eat buffet at Four Season. The trick is to sketch quickly so that you can eat before everything is cold!

Clearly, I need practice sketching glass!    I chose an out-of-the-way corner to sit as there were plenty of people wandering around today.  Fun!

Carolyn's Window

The view out Carolyn's window.  Looks more like a spring day, but it was a winter day!  I had fun trying out the Cheap Joe's Scroggy Loose Goose brushes recommended by Sheri B.

Sketching at Johnny Picasso's

I sketched these two young girls painting their pieces of pottery and tried to ignore the raucous birthday party at the neighboring table.  Johnny was a great host, serving us homemade soup with a smile.

Buddha Sketching at Aleli's

We had such fun sketching at Aleli's house!  There were buddha's and Santa's galore!  I couldn't scan this entire figure, but here is most of it.  She is a Thai buddha holding a pea for good luck.  The necklace was an added piece by Aleli.
