It
was a rainy, blustery day......elsewhere. But the Anacortes Sketchers
were cozy and warm at Alexander Beach today. You could literally paint
the entire landscape from the comfort of our hosts' dining table with a
beautiful panoramic view spread right out in front of you.
Even
when a couple of us ventured outdoors to sketch, it was quiet and
protected in our little cove. Three decks gave a choice of eye level and
all around the property were wonderful subjects to paint.
Thanks so much, Cherie and Howard for generously allowing us to sketch at your place today.
The wind was beginning to create whitecaps on Burrows Bay just before we left. |
It's so hard to get these kids to take a serious picture. |
Most of the sketches of the day. |
